Discover Far North Queensland and the amazing Daintree National Park on our guided Cape Tribulation Day Tour. Travel north along one of Australia’s most scenic drives stopping at Rex Lookout to admire the spectacular views of the Coral Sea. Continue on for a short tour of Port Douglas and a drive up Flagstaff Hill Lookout to admire the view of the town below and beautiful 4-mile Beach. Next stop is the Daintree River and the Daintree National Park – UNESCO listed World Heritage area and the oldest rainforest in the World. En-route to Cape Tribulation admire the spectacular sights at Alexandra Range lookout, try some organic Ice Cream and keep a lookout for Cassowaries. In Cape Tribulation enjoy a walk through the rainforest and along one of the most beautiful beaches in North Queensland before sitting down for an included picnic lunch. Cape Tribulation is where the rainforest meets the reef. Driving back towards Cairns stop for an informative river cruise, where you learn about the Daintree River Ecosystem and search for the saltwater crocodile. Travel back to Port Douglas for some free time to relax on the beach, get a coffee or take a stroll through the small town.
Our Cape Tribulation Day Tour includes an experienced private driver-guide, transport by Nissan Patrol or 12-Seater Mini Bus (depending on group size), picnic lunch including beer and wine, 1 hour Daintree River Cruise, Daintree River Ferry crossing fee and all National Parks fees.
