Day 1 Sydney – Crescent Head via Wildlife Park & Hunter Valley (Tuesday)
Get picked up from Wake Up Hostel, opposite Central Station, before commencing our adventure north by travelling over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge viewing the spectacular harbour and Opera House. En- route to the Hunter Valley we stop at a wildlife park to meet Koalas, kangaroos, emus, wombats, Tasmanian devils, dingoes and more Australian wildlife with our own wildlife ranger to guide us. After meeting the friendly animals we explore the beautiful Hunter Valley to taste delicious wine, try some smelly cheese and sweet chocolates with insight from local experts. Continue further north to Crescent Head, where tonight’s stop will be at a local surf camp. After checking into our accommodation, enjoy dinner and exchange stories around the fireplace, unwinding to a few beers with your new friends. (D)

Day 2 Crescent Head – Byron Bay (Wednesday)
Wake up early morning and after eating a wholesome breakfast hit the waves for your first surf lesson. After catching your first waves it’s time for a shower and lunch, before continuing north to iconic Byron Bay. Arrive around 6:00pm, check in and enjoy dinner at one of the many cafes and restaurants on offer. (B,L)
Day 3 Byron Bay (Thursday)
This morning enjoy a sleep in and a nutritious breakfast. Depart around 10am for a guided walk up to Byron Bay lighthouse and Australia’s most easterly point. Take in the amazing views and with some luck, see schools of Dolphins, Turtles, Stingrays and Sharks swimming below. The walk will take about 3 hours return. In the afternoon enjoy free time to walk around the small town, sit on the beach or take an optional surf lesson.
While in Byron Bay we can book you in for a jump out of a perfectly good airplane, a kayaking adventure with dolphins or a Scuba dive at Julian Rocks. There are also many other fun activities available. (B)

Day 4 Byron Bay – Noosa (Friday)
Depart Byron around 09:30am driving north to our next stop Noosa on the wonderful Sunshine Coast. You are now crossing into the Queensland, the Sunshine State of Australia. Enjoy a lunch stop at the famous Ettamogah Aussie Pub and get to the quaint town of Noosa early-afternoon. Check in at our accommodation and enjoy free time to relax. If you want to stay active take a walk in the National Park, where you should keep your eyes open for koalas feasting on eucalyptus leaves. The walk offers great views and is highly recommended. Alternatively you can stroll around town or go surfing. (B)
Day 5 Noosa – Fraser Island (Saturday)
Today depart on an overnight guided tour around the world’s largest sand island, stunning Fraser Island. Our 4WD tour explores the awesome beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. Over the 2 days traverse the stunning Seventy Five Mile Beach, discover the tropical part of the island, enjoy guided rainforest walks with stops at Lake McKenzie and Central Station. Overnight in one of the lodges on Fraser! Fantastic meals are provided. (B,L,D)
(Fast fact: the dingoes found on Fraser Island are the purest breed of dingoes in existence)
Day 6 Fraser Island – Noosa (Sunday)
The exploration of the island continues today. Keep your eyes peeled for wild dingoes, whales, dolphins and other wildlife. On the way home witnessing the multi-coloured sands of Rainbow Beach before returning to Noosa late afternoon. Free time to relax. (B,L)

Day 7 – 9 Noosa – Airlie Beach – Whitsunday Islands (Monday – Wednesday)
We depart Noosa early morning and transfer to Brisbane Airport for an early morning flight to Proserpine, gateway to the Whitsunday Islands. Transfer to the port in Airlie Beach before departing at 14:00 on a 2 day/ 2 night live aboard sailing adventure around the Whitsunday Islands with a combination of scuba diving (extra cost), sailing and speed. Stable level sailing allows comfortable movement around decks or in the fully air-conditioned spacious saloons and accommodation. Fun knowledgeable dive instructors make your first scuba experience or certified dive relaxed with easy beach entries and safe reef diving conditions. PC systems, movie projector and large screens provide entertaining slide shows after the ‘famous Aussie BBQ’ under the stars. Experience the beauty of the underwater world and some seriously fast fun.
Upon returning to Airlie Beach from your cruise (approx. 10:30), walk to your accommodation and check in. Free time to relax and enjoy Airlie Beach for the rest of the day. Meet your Cairns-based guide in the afternoon and then catch up with the boat crew for dinner and some drinks in the evening. (B,L,D*)

Day 10 Airlie Beach – Cairns (Thursday)
Rise early and meet your driver-guide, board the bus and commence the journey to Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Travel time will be approx. 10 hours with comfort stops along the way, amongst others in Townsville for lunch. Arrival into Cairns will be late afternoon. Your guide will drop you off at your accommodation and help with check-ins. Once checked in take a stroll along the Esplanade, go for a swim in the Lagoon, a big saltwater swimming facility, or rest up for the exciting days ahead. Alternatively hit the town and party. (B)
Day 11 Cairns (Friday)
Today we take a short orientation tour of the city, with your guide pointing out the main points of interest such as the Esplanade, Botanic Gardens, the Port and CBD. After sightseeing it’s time for a general wake up! We transfer to the bungy tower in Cairns where each person will be doing a Minjin Swing – a swing, where you are harnessed in swooping through the rainforest from 45 metres down to 1 metre in 3.5 seconds, reaching speeds up to 120km/h. But don’t think it’s up to the Swing Master to set you going – you have the control…. Enjoy the pristine rainforest setting, check out the views from the tower, have a beer or two at the bar, chill out on the deck and chat with your friends. For anyone interested in bungy jumping (optionally) go wild – we will arrange your jump(s) for you (jumps should be pre-booked)! Get your adrenaline level pumping even more with a dive from 50m. After all the fun we head over to one of the local beaches for a welcome Aussie BBQ lunch. While your guide is cooking up your meal you can build up your appetite with a swim in the Coral Sea. Return to Cairns mid-afternoon and enjoy a beer by the pool or head down to the lagoon for a swim by the sea.
Cairns also offers a variety of free activities such as Zumba, beach volleyball, various fitness classes and more. Ask us for details. (B,L)

Day 12 Cairns – Daintree – Port Douglas (Saturday)
Today is an incredible day of discovery. Departing early we travel north along one of Australia’s most scenic drives stopping en-route at Rex Lookout to admire a spectacular view. Shortly after we arrive at Cooya Beach to join the Kubirri Warra brothers on a very special beach, mudflat and mangrove walk. We learn how to throw a spear, hunt and observe wildlife like the traditional landowners have for thousands of years. They will share their extensive knowledge of this special area and how they care for their country. You will cook and eat what we catch as well as enjoying traditional damper breads and a cool drink before travelling further north to the edge of the world renowned Daintree National Park, UNESCO listed World Heritage area and the oldest rainforest in the World. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the many beaches along the way before going on an informative 1-hour cruise on the Daintree River in search of the saltwater crocodile. After our cruise we make our way towards Cairns, with a stop at Port Douglas. Return to Cairns late afternoon and free time. (B,L)

Day 13 Cairns – Great Barrier Reef (Sunday)
Depart early morning for an awesome day on the Great Barrier Reef. We cruise out in style on a catamaran and travel to 2 reef sites with one being a bird sanctuary – Michalmas Cay and the other Paradise reef where we moor exclusively, so you have all the fish, reef and turtles to yourselves. While traveling to the reef enjoy an exclusive presentation about the reef and marine life, so you know exactly what to look out for when snorkeling and/ or scuba diving. A dedicated eco-guide is available for our group throughout the day if you have any questions or concerns. Once at our reef site enjoy snorkeling, swimming and lazing on the deck or try scuba diving – no experience necessary, or take a glass bottom boat tour (optional extras, but highly recommended). While you are having fun the crew will prepare a wholesome lunch, which is served on board. Return to Cairns just in time for Happy Hour! Later in the evening we meet for a farewell dinner at one of the local cafes/ pubs in town (own cost). (B,L)
Day 14 Cairns (Monday)
Today is the end of our tour. Cairns offers many fun things to do, so if you are staying in town longer you should definitely try white water rafting on the Tully River, being a grade 4/6 river, offering a day full of adventure. Alternatively go sky diving, bungy jumping, try quad biking or horse riding, hang gliding or a romantic morning flight in a hot air balloon. If you have caught the bug for diving why not do your PADI Open Water certificate or even better, join us for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Conservation program. This is the first and only program on offer where you help monitor the health of the reef along by collecting data, combined with a learn to dive course and a Marine Biologist guide to help you underwater. Your findings will be sent to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and all data input into the Rapid Monitoring System already in place.

Sydney: accommodation in Sydney is not included in your package, but we recommend Wake Up Hostel in Sydney Central – great atmosphere, family run and owned and centrally located. If you need accommodation before your tour let us know – we can make arrangements for you.
Crescent Head: small, quiet holiday village offering twin, double and private accommodation with share facilities.
Byron Bay: enjoy the atmosphere of Byron Bay in this popular and centrally located backpacker hostel, just meters from the beach, shops and bars. Accommodation provided will be quad share dorms with A/C, own facilities as well as ensuite double/ twin and private room options.
Noosa: centrally located and quiet backpacker hostel, shuttle bus provided to the main street in Noosa, Main Beach and the National Park.
Fraser Island: camping in tents or dorm share accommodation. No private rooms or own facilities available.
Airlie Beach: enjoy the tropical warmth in this popular and centrally located backpacker hostel, just meters from the free public swimming pool, shops and bars. Accommodation provided will be A/C, 4-6 person dorms with own facilities as well as ensuite double/ twin and private room options.
Whitsundays Sailing Experience: live aboard sailing boat offering share cabins with common shower/ toilet facilities. Upgrades to double private rooms available at extra charge and not included in any of the packages below.
Cairns: finish off in style in this popular, but quiet backpacker resort located about 2kms from the city center, in close proximity to the airport and waterfront and with its own bar, swimming pool and volleyball court. Accommodation provided will be A/C, quad, double/ twin or private rooms with ensuite.

If you love mingling with new people and are on a budget this package is for you. Our Silver package is for people, who do not mind share accommodation and this package consists of a mix of quad share accommodation, in some cases with share facilities, as well as twin rooms all with ensuites.
This package is an upgrade to Silver and ideal for couples or close friends traveling together and wanting some private time in the evenings. Accommodation in all locations will be private double or twin rooms with private facilities.
This package is ideal for people enjoying the company of others by day and having the option of returning to their private rooms for ‘alone time’ and a good night’s sleep. Accommodation in all locations will be in private rooms with own facilities.
